We want you to submit stories, artwork, color samples, and lettering samples as a TEAM or as an INVIDVIDUAL creator. We will pair you with other people who submit and publish your work!
This anthology is CREATOR OWNED which means you'll keep the rights to your work and get paid!

Nathaniel is the Founder of Excavation Comics and the creator of Beatbox and Tune, Ducks Dan and Dave, and the Final 5. He hails from Central Montana and is an MFA graduate student at Northwestern University.
Juancho! Is a Colombian colorist and art director. Juancho's work can be seen at Marvel, Mad Cave, and Aftershock.
He's also the colorist for our flagship series Beatbox and Tune!
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for original comics 5-10 pages in length

WHAT WE'RE NOT LOOKING FOR

Stories that are explicit, fan service, or R-Rated (If you're unsure, please REACH OUT).

Work published elsewhere. We want original stories.

No AI generated work. We believe in human stories, creativity, and expression.
SUBMISSION TERMS

We're aiming for the anthology to be approximately 100 pages.
-
The anthology will be funded through Kickstarter.
-
If accepted, 75% of project must be complete before the launch of the Kickstarter campaign on JULY 1ST.

All accepted to participate in the anthology will receive a copy of the anthology as a .pdf and printed first edition in the mail.

After Kickstarter's platform and payment processing fees (10%), Excavation will receive 50% of funds raised for editorial, printing, shipping, design, marketing, and development costs. The remaining 50% of funds will be distributed to creative teams based on submission length.

SUBMISSION DETAILS

We're looking for comics 5-10 pages in length. *Projects longer than 10 pages will not be considered.

If submitting as a solo creator, please include all requirements of the roles you're taking.
